  • Shoot thru something (window, fence, blinds etc.)

  • Use reflections as a way of documenting your subject

  • Use a physical object to break up the frame (door, street light etc).

  • Consider the power of light and shadow – use sunlight light

  • Shoot at night using a variety of man-made light sources
