Studio Photography Proposal

For my studio photography assignment I intend to do four shoots in the university studio of portraits using lighting techniques. When I return to Cheltenham I plan to shoot my roommates and classmates, I will capture were the lighting lights up their faces and were the shadow is on their face while in the studio. The narrative of my studio photography will be to capture lighting techniques in the studio through four shoots using my roommates and classmates.

Through doing this project during the Covid 19 pandemic, I will need a plan b incase another lockdown is put in place or being unable to return to Cheltenham to capture photographs for this assignment. For my plan b I intend to set up a studio in my bedroom, using my family and myself as models for the four shoots. The narrative will still be but use different kinds of lighting I have access to e.g. window light, flashlight, ring light, flash from camera.
